John Furler MBBS, MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG
John has an interest in all aspects of General Practice including Drug & Alcohol Services; he is a registered Methadone Provider. John teaches medical students at Melbourne University. He joined the Centre in 1994.

David Isaac MBBS (Hons) Monash
David has been at North Richmond since 1981; he also works part time at St.Vincent's Hospital. His special interests are diabetes and migrant health.

Gloria Moscattini MBBS, Dip Fam Plan
Gloria has been at the Centre since 1982. Her special interest lies in women's health , especially with non-English speakers. She has worked at the Menopause Clinic at the Mercy Hospital. She speaks Italian and Spanish.

Teresa Russo MBBS
Teresa has been at the Centre on and off for many years and is interested in all aspects of general practice, as offered in a supportive, psychotherapeutic framework.

Elizabeth Segal MBBS. Dip Fam Plan.
Libby joined the Centre in 1993 and is interested in women's health, family health and ethnic health issues. She speaks Hebrew.

Medical Services at NRCHC

The Medical team is committed to providing the highest standard of care to all patients (including non-English speaking patients who require interpreters). The Medical Service undergoes regular accreditation.

Hours of Opening

Appointments

All doctors are available for 15 minute appointments. If you require extra time please book a double appointment. If for some reason you cannot keep your appointment please ring and notify us. Doctors can be contacted by phone during surgery hours if it is an emergency; otherwise a message will be taken.

Emergencies

A seriously ill patient or one with an injury will naturally receive priority over other patients.

Home Visits

Should you need attention and are unable to attend the Centre, a doctor will attend you at home. This is restricted to the local area.

After Hours

This practice provides 24-hour cover through our locum service which can be contacted on 9429 5677. We are notified of the locum's visit.

Fees/Billing Arrangements

Medical services are bulk-billed. Please present your Medicare card at each visit.

Workcover

Please indicate if your visit is work related.

The Practice regularly participates in reviewing the quality of its care. We are involved in teaching medical students and in research.
